Virginia's Vision was created to support those impacted by sexual assault, violence, and bullying.

(Arguably, all of us.)

The name "Virginia" is used in honor of my sister and late grandmother (pictured to the left.) My grandmother and sister are women that view every person in front of them for their inherent worth.

They (along with my mother) see people for best of who they are and see the world ahead of them as a place of community and possibility.

Similarly, we want Virginia's Vision to help shape a more kind, safe future through education, prevention initiatives, literature review, resource accounting, and policy study.

(also pictured: me, not officially a "Virginia" but always finding a way to include myself in pictures.)

For the Sake of the Internet: Non-Expert Disclaimer

Please keep in mind Virginia's Vision is a personal passion project from a non-public sector researcher and PhD candidate hopeful. I'm not an expert in this field, but I've dedicated time and energy toward working with and studying those impacted by sexual assault and other offenses, in-person and in the digital world, that violate a person's autonomy. This website is a place to share my learnings, thoughts, ideas, and goals in this highly important space.

If you discover something on this website that has been misrepresented or misexplained, please feel free to send me a message.

Learning is a lifelong process that I never shy away from.
